Local DAR chapter hosts reassembly tea

Hill introduced the guest speaker, Glenda Wallis, registrar for the Ardmore chapter. Wallis gave tips and the names of several websites that are helpful in genealogy research.

Regent Carole Martin, Ardmore, extended an invitation to Ardmore Founders Day, Nov. 7, 2013, at 2 p.m.

Hill read a card from Kathy Howry, which thanked members for their prayers and support in the passing of her granddaughter, Taylor Howry.

Hostesses for the meeting were the elected officers, assisted by Derrelyn Metz.

The door prize was won by Ruth Ann Taylor.

The next meeting is Sept. 10 at 1:30 p.m. at the Ada Arts and Heritage Center.
