Laney Stout, Brian Wilke marry in garden wedding

Ada — Laney Stout and Brian Wilke were joined in marriage July 27, 2013,  in the gardens of Belle Meade Plantation, Nashville, Tenn.  The Rev. Jeff Nelson, pastor of Cherry Hills Baptist Church, Springfield Ill., officiated the ceremony with assistance from Capt. Jack R Peters, grandfather of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Frank and Janice Stout, Ada.  The bridegroom is the son of Kurt and Beth Wilke, Springfield, Ill.  

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory gown with chiffon embroidered lace and a chapel length veil edged with Alencon lace by Modern Trousseau.  

Maid of honor was Laura Medcalf, cousin of the bride.  Best men were Andrew Castillo and Brant Bonetti.   Bridesmaids were Melissa Allen, cousin of the bride, Valerie Kuznik, Annie Bennett, Jill Vaum  and Kate Wilke, sister of the bridegroom.  Groomsmen were Kevin Wymer, Christopher Fruci, Alexander Weaver and John Stout, brother of the bride. Flower girls were Ellis Matlock and Everly Allen.  Bear Stout served as ring bearer for his aunt. Special music was performed during the ceremony by Doug Matlock.

The house party included Stephanie Eppler and Taylor Anderson.

Guests enjoyed dinner and dancing in the Carriage House following the ceremony.  The bridegroom’s parents hosted a dinner on the eve of the wedding at Café Marche in Nashville.

Graduates of Vanderbilt University, the bride works in public relations at Eckel & Vaughan and the bridegroom is a Mordecai scholar at Duke University School of Law. Following a honeymoon in Bora Bora, the couple is at home in Durham, N.C.
