Clancy Davis to perform at church

 Clancy Davis will perform Sunday, Sept. 29, at the 10:45 a.m. service at Morris Memorial Baptist Church, 16121 County Road 3540, Ada (next to Latta School). Joining Davis on stage are Jody Teeter and band members Greg Griffin and Gary Bryan.

 

Serving aging loved ones seminar set

Do you have questions that need answers in regards to “Serving Your Aging Loved Ones”? Chris Findley, director of Chaplain Services for Baptist Village Communities of Oklahoma, will help individuals find answers to their unique family situations Monday, Sept. 30, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. This event will be held at Ada First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall located at 521 S. Broadway. Phone 580-332-4121 by noon on Monday, Sept. 30th, to register for this event. A light meal will be served.

 

John Jonas speaks at Stratford church

John Jonas, special speaker, and Southern Gospel Band from Dallas, Texas, will be at New Beginnings Church at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 29. The church is located two miles east of Stratford on state Highway 19.

Lessons offered on key to kingdom

New Life Apostolic Faith Church offers special Bible lessons on the disciple that holds the key to the kingdom of heaven.  (Acts. 2:38)

St. Luke’s to host Visitor Sunday

On Sunday, Sept. 29, at 9 a.m., St. Luke’s Episcopal Church  will offer a Visitor’s Sunday for those who may be interested in the  Episcopal Church, it’s worship and beliefs.

A service booklet explaining  aspects of worship will be available, and the sermon will  address what it means to be a Christian through the lens of the  Episcopal Church.

A brunch will follow the 9 a.m. service.  

St. Luke’s is located at 17th and Broadway.

 

Union Hill church conducts revival

Union Hill Baptist Church hosts a revival Oct. 6-10 with evangalist Kim Schmdit. Song leader is Fred Stevens.
