Standridge couple to celebrate 50 years of marriage

Ada — Gene and Ruby Standridge of Ada will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2-4 p.m. June 14 at College Heights Baptist Church, 925 E. Seventh St. The couple’s family is planning the event. 

Gene Standridge and Ruby Wofford were married June 12, 1964 at Pauls Valley. 

Their children are Mike Standridge of Ada, and Jimmy and Vickie Standridge of Pauls Valley. The couple’s grandchildren are Joe and Brandy Standridge of Valliant, Jennifer Myers of Paoli, Kim Rinehart of Ada and Christie Smith of Shawnee. Great-grandchildren are Jaren Standridge of Ada; Abigail Standridge and Dustin Woods of Valliant; Jacelyn and Jada Standridge and Makalia Myers of Paoli; Bryce Smith and Asia White of Ada; Kennedy Grace of Shawnee; and Colton Browning and Chisolm Rinehart of Ada.
