New SOAR facility to open June 1

Ada — A grand opening and open house will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 1, at 115 N. Oak Ave for the Pruitt Center for Recovery.

The festivities will inclcude facility tours, food and refreshments from 4 - 5 p.m., the opening ceremony from 5-5:30 p.m. and fellowship with clients and alumni from 5:30 - 6 p.m.  Duane Murray, president of SOAR Board of Directors, will serve as the master-of-ceremonies.

The facility will be home to Southern Oklahoma Addictions Recovery (SOAR). The organization is an independent, long-term residential treatment program for drug and alcohol treatment. SOAR developed in response to the growing need for a strong regional residential treatment facility for drug court offenders as part of the release program.
