LCC pastor departs for mission to the Philippines

Ada —

Life Community Church (LCC) Senior Pastor Mickey Keith will depart Sunday, March 31, for the Philippines for a two-week evangelistic mission of support that he began in 1992.

During this annual mission, Keith will represent both LCC and its congregation and the Independent Assemblies (IA), a national organization of approximately 140 independent Christian Churches of which Keith is the organization’s president.

Life Community Church maintains a strong emphasis on support for international ministries and the congregation provides ongoing support for missions in Asia, India, Africa and Central America.

In the Philippines, the LCC is a primary supporter of the Charisma Bethel Children’s Home (CBCH), located in the city of Surigao on the island of Mindanao.  The children’s home was founded in 1986 by CBCH Director Pastora Marilou Navarro, who is also president of the Charismatic Full Gospel Ministry (CFGM), an evangelical organization that includes a 1000-member church, a Bible School, the children’s home and a network with more than 400 churches and pastors throughout the region.
