Ada —

Bless the Home series begins

ADA — hosts a new series, Bless the Home, beginning April 28.

So many families are struggling today. Jesus taught about eight qualities of the blessings of God in the Beatitudes. The series helps participants discover what it means to have a blessed home.

Lessons are at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and noon at 108 W. Main.


Last Sunday supper scheduled April 28

ADA — First Christian Church hosts a last Sunday supper community dinner from 4:30-6 p.m. April 28. Members invite the public to join them for food, fun and fellowship.

The church is located at the corner of 13th and Broadway.


College Heights hosts breakfast

ADA — College Heights Baptist Church invites all ladies interested in good food and   Christian fellowship to join them Saturday, April 20, for their monthly Ladies Breakfast  at 10 a.m.

College Heights is located at 927 East 7th St. in Ada. For more information, phone Pat at 421-6556.


Practical Bible messages to begin

ADA — A series of practical Bible messages begins at 9:30 a.m., April 21, at Central Church of Christ, 820 Stadium Drive, Ada. 

Bud Ross will introduce the series by speaking on “What Do You Do When Life Feels Like You’ve Been Living in a Dark Hole?”


Temple teens start DiscipleCore

ADA — The Temple Teens of Ada Baptist Temple have started  DiscipleCore.

 This is an opportunity for teens of Ada to grow in their relationship with God. Currently, they are asking themselves the question, “Is the Lord my Shepherd?”

Senior high (9-12 grade) meets every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. and junior high (7-8 grade) meets every Saturday at 7 p.m. It is casual and snacks are provided.

The class meets in the teen room at ABT.

Teens at Ada Baptist Temple invite the teens of Ada to be a part of this class.

Ada Baptist Temple is located at 301 Napier St. For more information about the class,  phone Youth Pastor Caleb Prenevost at 619-219-0061. 


Church garage sale scheduled Saturday

Ada First Free Will Baptist Church, 421 S. Ash, hosts a church garage sale from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, April 20.
