Breanne Elizabeth Yott, Konawa, and Matthew James Dean, Ada, are exchanging wedding vows July 30, 2011, at First United Methodist Church of Ada. Steven Nation will officiate the 1 p.m. ceremony.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kenneth and Janet Yott, Konawa. She is the granddaughter of Faye Sherwood and Arlis and Ernestine Yott, all of Konawa, and the late J.D. Sherwood. A 2004 graduate of Konawa High School, she graduated in 2008 from East Central University with a degree in early childhood education. She is employed by Tecumseh Public Schools.

Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Delbert Dean, Ada, and Linda Watkins, Inola. He is the grandson of Delvee and Margret Soles, Nashville, Tenn., and the late Beverly Ogden, and the late Betty and Al Knowlton. He graduated from Ada High School in 2004. He will graduate in the fall of 2011 from East Central University with a  degree in business.
