Ada — Thank you for the lovely May 25, 2014 cover story on Eagle Scout Shannon Hysten. Art Lawler provided an excellent human interest article on a young man who used his time to honor those buried at the Ada Cemetery, some of whom were U.S. war veterans. We are proud of you.
I also want to offer congratulations to all of the young men of Angus McFarland's Troop 4 who have earned their Eagle Scout award.
It seems to me the President needs to have his head examined but I'm afraid they'd only find half a brain.
The U.S. is not supposed to negotiate with terrorists and yet, he makes a deal to release five top leaders of a terrorist organization in a trade for one man who by all rights is a traitor. Our Constitution says if two men witness a man in an act of treason then that man is a traitor. By releasing these men the President is putting Americans in harm's way. This is not the act of a president who is upholding the laws of the Constitution and putting the safety of the American people above all else as he has sworn to do.
How much more is our Congress going to let this man get by with?
He has done more to hurt the U.S. than any president before him and is the worst president we ever had.
