Ada —

The East Central football team is coming off a tough 49-14 road loss to No. 10 Henderson State, but there's no time for the Tigers to lick their wounds.

No. 20 Ouachita Baptist comes to town Saturday. The OBU Tigers were ranked No. 10 before the Tigers were upset 34-14 by Harding last week in Arkadelphia, Ark.

Ouachita Baptist enters Saturday's game — scheduled for a 2 p.m. kickoff at Norris Field — at 6-1 overall and 4-1 in the Great American Conference. The Tigers fell to 3-5 and 1-4.

"They're a good football team. Defensively, they really do a good job of stopping teams from running the ball. They make you a one-dimensional team," said East Central head coach Tim McCarty.  "Offensively, they've done a good job of running the ball. They have some terrific players. I'm sure they're dialed in and want to get back on the winning track. It's going to be a tough game, but we're excited about it."
