The Lady Tigers finished with a two-day score of 661 (328-332) for fourth in a field that included seven of the eight teams that sponsor women’s golf in the Great American Conference. Arkansas Tech finished first (615), Harding was second (633) and host Henderson State was third (644). ECU finished ahead of Southern Arkansas (7th-736), Arkansas-Monticello (8th-748) and Ouachita Baptist (DNF).
ECU was led by senior Emily Wharton, who tallied a 162 (81-81) and finished tied for 11th. Senior Ashley Cardwell was three strokes behind Wharton, with a 165 (83-82) and was 14th. Sophomore Lindsey Lunceford was 17th with a 167 (81-86), freshman Megan Gowens was 18th with a 168 (85-83) and freshman Madison Myers tied for 20th, with a 171 (84-87).
