  • Free Concert ECU flutist, pianist set free Thursday concert at center

    East Central University adjunct instructor and flutist Juliana Overmier, accompanied on the piano by ECU’s Dr. Starla Hibler, will perform on Thursday, Sept. 13, at 7:30 p.m. at the Ada Arts and Heritage Center, located at 14th and Rennie in Ada.

    ECU has raised its tuition and fees to offset a loss of state funding, according to information from the university.

    Enrollment for continuing students, former students and transfer students at East Central University is ongoing until the beginning of fall classes on Aug. 20.

  • Bradford Williams Williams named OSU-OKC vice president for student services

     

    OSU-Oklahoma City approved the appointment of Bradford Williams as Vice President for Student Services. Williams is currently the Associate Vice President of Special Projects and assumed his new role June 30.

    Stephen Decker of Whitewright, Texas, a legal studies major at East Central University, has been awarded ECU’s Adolph Linscheid Award as a member of the ECU speech and debate team who has distinguished himself through tournament competition.
