Federal red tape is making the task of getting small businesses back on track more difficult, Vision Bank CEO James Hamby said recently.
Hamby testified about the impact of federal regulations on small community banks during a July 19 hearing before the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, according to the bank’s website. The committee is looking into whether regulations are affecting businesses’ ability to create new jobs.
