Arvest Bank receives award

Ada —

Arvest Bank ranks highest both in the South Central Region and in the Southwest Region in the J.D. Power and Associates 2012 Retail Banking Satisfaction StudySM.  This is the fourth year that Arvest has been recognized with a regional award.

Arvest has been ranked highest in satisfaction with retail banking in the Southwest (2010, 2011, 2012), Southeast (2009) and South Central (2010, 2012) regions.  The 2012 study was conducted with more than 51,000 banking consumers throughout eleven regions across the United States.

“What an honor to be recognized for the fourth year,” said Chris Clark, President and CEO of Shawnee-Ada.  “Our associates work hard to provide excellent service to our customers so to be recognized in this manner means a lot.”

Arvest Bank received ratings significantly higher than the regional averages in five factors analyzed by the study - account activities, account information, facility, fees, and product offerings. The South Central Region is comprised of five states: Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. The Southwest Region is comprised of six states: Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma and Utah.

We believe that many factors contribute to Arvest’s highest ranking in the study.  Arvest Bank has some of the lowest fees in the nation, a highly rated in-branch experience and offers 12-hour weekday banking, along with Saturday hours at many of its more than 230 locations.  Arvest also provides a wide variety of desirable checking and loan products as well as many customer conveniences including online banking, mobile banking, deposit image ATMs and other electronic services.

“We provide longer hours, more locations and innovative products to meet the financial needs of our customer,” said Clark.  “Knowing our customers by name and involvement in our local communities is just part of the customer-focused philosophy we feel our customers appreciate.”

The news that several manufacturing giants are planning to bring some of their production back to the United States has dominated the headlines in recent months. Perhaps that's because Americans see it as a bellwether of economic recovery, or perhaps it simply reflects their collective yearning for America's past industrial dominance. Either way, the interest in these moves demonstrates the unique hold that manufacturing has on the public imagination.
