  • Tribe's fight with French in 1736 eyed

    Multimedia presentations will be 5:30 p.m. today in the Chickasaw Nation Housing Large Conference Room, 111 Rosedale Road, and 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19 in the Holisso Research Center at the Chickasaw Cultural Center in Sulphur.

  • Halloween blood drive set by Valley View

     

    Blood donors can show their community and school spirit by donating with Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) Wednesday, October 31. Valley View Regional Hospital is sponsoring a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at 430 N. Monte Vista, Ada.

  • Chickasaws to host team cornstalk shooting competition

    The Chickasaw Nation will host a cornstalk shooting competition, “Shoot of the Nations” 8 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 20. Team members from many tribes are expected to attend he competition, which will take place at Kullihoma, southeast of Ada.
