Latta shortstop Madison Abney can't hang on to the ball as Dale's Samantha Barry (14) slides into the bag during a first-round contest at the Class 4A State Tournament in Oklahoma City on Wednesday. The ball came loose after Abney had stepped on the base and was attempting to turn a double play. One umpire called Barry out at second but was overruled by another official. The Lady Pirates defeated Latta 13-6.
