Update: Injury Accident South of Asher

Asher — First responders worked at the scene of an injury accident in northwestern Pontotoc County. Reports from the scene indicate three vehicles were involved in a head-on collision on the State Highway 3W south of Asher.

Two vicitims were taken by air ambulance to Oklahoma City hospitals in critical condition, and two victims were transported to Mercy Hospital with reportedly non-life threatening injuries.

The SH3W bridge remained closed for more than two hours due to the crash.
