Plenty of protection

Offensive linemen Bryant Newell (67) and Marcus Beale (69) give East Central quarterback Spencer Bond (3) plenty of time to throw during last week’s 64-14 win over Northwestern at Norris Field. Bond completed 21-of-30 passes for 418 yards and five touchdowns in the victory. The Tigers travel to Weatherford this weekend to take on host Southwestern. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. Order reprints of this image at theadanews.smugmug.com.
