Lady Panthers need practice time

The Lady Panthers opened the season Monday at the Rattan Festival and dropped an 11-5 decision to Valliant and a 9-5 setback to Hugo. After Latta's girls basketball team made its run to the Class 2A State Tournament, the softball team had to open with very little practice time under its belts.
