Tough times in Shawnee

Ada senior Kyndel Carter dribbles through traffic in action earlier this month. The Lady Cougars dropped a 58-24 decision to Class 5A No. 1 Shawnee on the road Tuesday night. Coach Christie Jennings' club fell to 4-2 on the season with both losses coming against a top-ranked foe. The Lady Cougars also lost to 3A No. 1 Perkins-Tryon in the finals of the 2012 Bison Invitational held on the campus of Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee.
