Hair-raising loss

Konawa's Brittany West tries to get a shot past the defense of Coalgate's Kendra Coslow (11) during a meeting last week in Konawa. Coalgate won that contest 49-47 and then edged the Lady Tigers 61-60 in overtime Monday night at the S.T.A.R. Tournament in Konawa. The two narrow wins over Konawa are the first two victories of the 2013-14 season for Coalgate. The Lady Wildcats will face Roff Thursday night at 8:30 p.m. in the semifinals of the S.T.A.R. Tournament.
