From Pauls Valley to Ardmore Ada's Tristan Doffin makes contact at the plate during action at the Jeff Davis Memorial Tournament in Pauls Valley over the weekend. The Cougars rebounded from a first-round loss to Bethany to romp past Wynnewood and Purcell to claim the consolation title. Ada outscored its final two foes by a combined 31-3 margin. The Cougars are back in tournament action Thursday, facing Wynnewood at 10:30 a.m. in pool play at the Ardmore/Lone Grove Showcase. Ada will also face Duncan at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Lone Grove.
