The Byng Lady Pirates and head coach Matt Fike are shown during pregame introductions at the 2013 Class 4A State Tournament. Byng was 3-2 entering the holiday break, and the Lady Pirates are preparing to host the first-ever Byng Pirate Invitational, which begins Thursday inside the Bill Keller Field House. Fike's team, which has already been hampered with injuries, travels to Konawa Tuesday night.
