- Ada, Oklahoma

Early smiles

The Ada Lady Cougars were all smiles during their 10-0 win over local rival Byng during a first-round contest at the Class 4A Regional Tournament at Byng's Bobby Johns Field. But after the Lady Pirates disposed of Broken Bow 7-3 and the Lady Cougars absorbed a 7-0 loss to top seed Purcell, Ada and Byng will meet again today at noon in a loser-out affair.
