Yotts celebrate 50th anniversary

Arlis and Ernestine Yott are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a come-and-go reception Saturday, Aug. 20. Hors d’oeuvres, cake and punch will be served from 2-5 p.m. at Vamoosa Baptist Church, 35586 EW 1400, Konawa. Their children and grandchildren are hosting the event.

Arlis Yott and Ernestine Scroggin were married Aug. 19, 1961, at Assembly of God Church in Konawa.

The couple’s children are Kenneth Yott and Wayne Yott, both of Konawa, Wesley Yott, Asher, and Waylon Yott, Derby, Kan. They have nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
