Stoneciphers celebrate 70th anniversary

Ada — STRATFORD — Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Stonecipher, Stratford, are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary with a reception Sunday, Sept. 19. Their children and grandchildren are hosting the event at 1 p.m. at Wintersmith Park Lodge.

Oliver Stonecipher and Ina Gardner were married Sept. 28, 1940, at Pontotoc County line by the Rev. Vard Woods.

Mr. Stonecipher was employed by the city of Ada and Mrs. Stonecipher is a homemaker.

Their children include Brenda and Richard Pedersen, Cooper, Texas, Donald and Linda Stonecipher, Chambersburg, Pa., Johnny and Doris Stonecipher, Stratford, and Sharon and Bobby Ross, Stratford. Mr. and Mrs. Stonecipher have six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The family asks that no gifts be given. Family and friends are invited.
