Wolfs honored on 60th anniversary

Ada — ADA — Charles and Maxine Wolf, Ada, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception. The event takes place at 7 p.m. Dec. 21, at Wintersmith Park Lodge. Hosts are Rhonda Ward, Amara Cocilovo-Nash and LaDonna Mayer.

Charles Wolf and Maxine Buchanan were married Dec. 22, 1950, by a justice of the peace in Ada.

Mr. Wolf began working for Luton's Electric in September 1950. He bought the business in 1985 and retired in 2000. Mrs. Wolf worked for McCurley Bayless Drug Store from 1948-1965, and OTASCO from 1966-1982 before retiring. They are members of College Heights Missionary Baptist Church.

Their children include LaDonna Mayer and her husband Robert, Santa Fe, N.M., and Charles Wolf Jr. and his wife Latricia, Noble.

The couple's grandchildren include Rhonda Ward, husband Sean, Glenpool; Amara Cocilovo-Nash, husband Slade, Bradenton, Fla.; Charles Wolf III, Noble; Laura Prince and husband Cory, Pontotoc; Yuvonda Kilpatrick and husband Keaton, Noble. Great-grandchildren are Riley and Raegan Ward, Taylor Havens and Charles Wolf IV, Logan, Braydon and Colton Prince, and Kiely and Kaegan Kilpatrick.
