Blackwells celebrate 50th anniversary

Norman — Bob and Phyllis Blackwell, Norman, were married June 2, 1961, in the Kathryn P. Boswell Memorial Chapel on the East Central University campus in Ada.

They recently celebrated their 50th anniversary by taking their children, grandchildren, and great-grandson on a Caribbean cruise.

Bob is a retired engineer from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation and Phyllis retired as assistant to the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, at The University of Oklahoma.
