Johnsons celebrating 50th anniversary

Ada — Loyd Dale Johnson and Martha JoAnn Way were married Dec. 19, 1960, in Wilson, Okla. They have lived in Wilson, Lindsay, Healdton, Ratliff City, Ada, and now reside in Stratford where they are active members of Church of Christ. 

They have four children: Randy and Debbie Johnson, Gainesville, Texas, Rhonda and husband Robbie Kinder, Ada, Robby and Jackie Johnson, Stratford, and Rachelle and husband Greg Lough, Antlers. 

The Johnsons have 10 grandchildren: Paul and wife Tiffany Johnson, Holdenville, Jeremy and wife Erica Johnson, Shawnee, Paige Johnson, Newcastle, Michael and Melissa, Gainesville, Ryan and Reid Kinder, Ada, Joshua and Caleb Johnson, Stratford, and Miranda Lough, Antlers. They also have two great-grandchildren: Autumn Johnson, Holdenville, and Benjamin Johnson, Shawnee.  

In honor of the Johnsons 50th wedding anniversary, their children and grandchildren are hosting a come-and-go reception Saturday, Dec. 18 from 2-4 p.m. at Church of Christ Activity Building, 210 E. Smith in Stratford. The love of friends and family is a treasured gift and the family requests no other.
