Millers celebrate 60th wedding anniversary

Ada — ADA — Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Miller, Ada, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010.  The event was held at The Inn at Treasure Valley in Davis.

Virgil and Martha Miller were married in Memphis, Texas, Dec. 19, 1950.

They have six children:  Cindy Pitts, Larry Miller, Steve Miller and Carla Henry, all of Ada, Lanny Miller, Perry, and Lyle Miller, Ardmore.

Virgil spent most of his life working as a mechanic. He retired from Vanoss School in 1992 where he was bus director, mechanic, and janitor.

Martha retired from Vanoss School in 1998 where she worked as cafeteria director, cook, and teacher’s aid.  Both are members of Trinity Baptist Church.

Many family members, grandchildren and great- grandchildren attended this special occasion. They include Marlys Miller, Aaron, Nicole and Natalie Miller, Quinton, Amanda, Aiden and Avery Tetik, all of Perry;  Trish Miller of Ada; Chrissy, Micah, Payton and Ryan Noland of Davis;  Matt and Autumn Miller of Moore; Brad and Carson Miller of Ada; Carla, Sara, Katie and Kira Miller, Troy, Haley, Tucker and Harper Miller, all of Ada;  Drew and Tara Miller of Tecumseh; Tim, Leah and Casey Henry of Ada; Melanie, Madison and Ashtyn Miller of Ardmore; Helen and Allyn Harrison of Lewisville, Texas; Julie, Jeff and Nicolai Culp of Flower Mound, Texas; Sam and Angie Harrison, Double Oak, Texas; Eddie and Brenda Milligan of Wichita Falls, Texas; and Jerry Milligan and daughter Vicki.
