    Word circulated through the Ada sideline early in Thursday night's home scrimmage with Plainview that members of the Ardmore football team — Ada's season-opening opponent next Friday — were in the stands. In their brief appearance on the field, the Cougar starters and back-ups on both side of the ball gave their old rivals something to think about all week long.
