Huling, Lady Cougs blank Seminole

Ada —

The simple formula the Ada Lady Cougars have used throughout this fast-pitch season worked again in Tuesday's 3-0 home win over Seminole.

Scott Simpson's young squad produced just enough offense and defense to back another clutch performance from senior lefty Leah Huling en route to its ninth win in 10 games. Tuesday's victory pushed Ada's record to 18-8 heading into today's home showdown with Class 4A No. 13 Tecumseh and Monday's contest at home against Ardmore to close out the regular season.

"We didn't hit it great, but we hit it better than we did the last time we played them," said Simpson, whose club had beaten the Lady Chieftains, 2-1, in their only other meeting this season.
