  • Rested and Ready Team rested and ready for academic tournament

    Senior Colton Lott, co-captain of Ada High's OSSAA Class 4A state tournament team, pronounced the squad rested and ready to give it another try Saturday, March 5, at Redlands Community College in El Reno. Snowed out of an early February state date, the team practiced, practiced, then practiced some more.

    Ada Public School District would like to make parents aware of child find opportunities available to all children who are suspected of having a disability and in need of special education and related services.

    Ada High special education teacher Sherri Wright was a finalist for the TARC Advocate-Educator of the year award. TARC is a network of programs advocating for the rights of citizens with developmental disabilities..

  • Teaching and Learning Ada teachers receive grants

    Ada City Schools Foundation recently presented grants to several teacher  in the Ada system. To qualify for the grants, teachers submitted written proposals detailing how the money would be used in the classroom.

    Every Wednesday around 10 a.m., you can see Sheri Wright’s Ada High L.I.F.E class boarding  the Call-A-Ride bus to head to PAWS, Ada’s shelter for lost or stray animals.
