    Ada High School amassed 10 first places in the East Central University 2012 Interscholastic Meet and backed that up with a cluster of seconds and thirds to win the large school division.

    For the third-straight year Ada High has received the College Readiness Award for increasing the number of students taking the ACT Assessment over the previous five years and significantly increasing their level of achievement and college readiness.

    Ada High School’s Maroon Team prosecuted and Clinton High School’s Gold Team defended a case to determine the winner of the Oklahoma High School Mock Trial competition on March 6. The final round will began at 5:30 p.m. in the Bell Courtroom at the University of Oklahoma College of Law in Norman.

    Pontotoc Technology Center is recruiting high school students for the 2011-2012 school year. In January more than 500 sophomores toured Pontotoc Technology Center campus to see what career majors are offered.
