Enroll 'One place - One time'

Ada —

It’s ‘One Place – One Time’ for enrollment for all Ada City Schools. The enrollment date is Tuesday, Aug. 9, 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. The Ada Cougar Activity Center (ACAC) is the site for students of Ada Early Childhood Center, Hayes Grade Center, Washington Grade Center, Willard Grade Center and Ada Junior High School. The ACAC is located at 1400 Stadium Drive on the Ada High campus.

To shorten the enrollment process, parents should take advantage of enrollment forms available to download and complete at your convenience to bring with you on enrollment day. In addition, parents that completed pre-enrollment forms last spring at their respective school will have an expedited process. Forms can be located at www.adapss.com.

Parents of current and new Ada High students will need to enroll students on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. This will consist of completing forms necessary to start the school year. Parents must make contact in order for students to receive a schedule on orientation day.

All new and currently enrolled students enrolling in the Ada City School District for the 2011–2012 school year must bring the following to enrollment: Immunization Record, Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Medicaid Number, Proof of Residency and CDIB (Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood) Card.

Immunizations must be complete before any student may attend school.  The Pontotoc County Health Department will be on site August 9th to provide necessary immunizations.

Meet and Greet/Orientation Days for all elementary grade centers (Ada Early Childhood, Hayes, Washington and Willard) will be open for parents and children to visit their schools, meet their teachers, join Parent/Teacher Organizations, and bring supplies to their new rooms on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
