School districts decide to wait before releasing A-F grades

Ada —  

The state Department of Education told Oklahoma school districts this week they can release their A-F report cards if they wish.

But many area school districts, including Ada City Schools, are waiting to release their report cards until the state verifies whether the grades are accurate.

“Since the information could change based on state averages and things like that, it’s a possibility that the report cards could change,” Ada Superintendent Pat Harrison said Wednesday. “And we don’t want to release anything that’s not totally accurate until it’s been certified at the state level.”
